I used to gag at the slightest touch, and it was frustrating as hell because I wanted to go deeper without feeling like I was dying. After a lot of trial and error, I realized that breathing through my nose made a massive difference—like, seriously, once I focused on slow nose breaths instead of panicking, my throat relaxed way more. Also, warming up with something smaller first helped me train without feeling overwhelmed. Has anyone else found tricks that actually work, or is it just one of those things you have to suffer through until you get used to it?
